EXPERIENCE

 

PUBLISHING EXPERIENCE

• Created my own brand Creating Vintage Charm.

• Started my own magazine around my brand name back in August of 2010

• I am the Editor in Chief for a collection of artisans and interior stylists scattered world-wide as well as being a regular contributor of articles for a global readership.

• Began as a quarterly publication, then as following grew to over 800 subscribers in January of 2013 I published a new issue every 2 months.

 

PHOTOSHOP EXPERIENCE

• Did all of my publication layouts in Photoshop

• Photos for my publication and others were all tweaked in Photoshop

• Cover for a book titled The Pirate’s Bastard

• Designed my own line of unique fabric prints in Photoshop

• All of my personal use or inspiring photos designed to branch out and network with other artists and readers socially were touched up in Photoshop. 

 

RUNNING AN ONLINE BUSINESS

• Started an online business around the Creating Vintage Charm brand, selling my own line of fabric as well as doing custom textile designs and domestic goods.

• Designed from the ground up and fine-tuned the layout of my online store and website using Blogger

• Created my own mixed media art and sold it through Etsy.

• Marketing and design consultant for local and online businesses.
